Archived
All open source projects have their life cycles and may become less active for various reasons. Within the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation, projects in the incubation stage need to meet multiple requirements. According to Article 12 of Chapter 3 of the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation's Open Source Project Management System v1.0, if an incubation project or a graduated project meets any of the following conditions, the Secretariat will archive it:
(1) The project's maintenance team is dissolved;
(2) The project party or the project's governance organization initiates a project archiving proposal to the Secretariat;
(3) There are no code submissions or maintenance operations for the project within one year and it remains unattended after notification.
Once a project is archived, the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation will no longer provide comprehensive services such as brand marketing and developer activities for it.
The trademarks and codes of archived projects will still be hosted by the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation in a neutral manner, and the project code repository will be set to read-only status.
If anyone is interested in taking over the project's operation and restarting it, please contact operation@openatom.org.
